I made this necklace using a selection of glass beads, pearls, buttons, silver-plated heart pendant, my own crochet beads, crystlas, 0.8mm and 0.6mm silver plated wire, chain, bead caps, head pins, jewellery pliers and wire wrapping techniques.

A long necklace with history. This necklace has a little bit of something...the big glass heart pendant came from The British Heart Foundation; the charity I volunteer for since last year. The copper lockets came from a recycled bracelet - I added some tiny pictures from my gorgeous husbby and my beloved cat Hot Paws. The chain was also recycled from another necklace. The teal faceted beads were part of a magazine prize. Finally the crystals, copper head pins, jump rings and beads caps came from my bead stash

Un collar largo con historia. Este collar tiene de todo un poco...el pendiente de vidrio en forma de corazon vino de The British Heart Foundation; la tienda de caridad en la cual soy voluntaria desde el año pasado. Los relicarios de cobre provinieron de un pulsera reciclada - Les puse unas fotos chiquititas de my maravilloso esposo y mi amada gata Hot Paws. La cadena tambien fue reciclada de otro collar. Las cuentas con facetas en color "teal" fueron parte de un premio que recibi de una revista. Finalmente los cristales, las agujas de cobre, anillas y bonetes de las cuentas provinieron de mi coleccion de cuentas.

Soñadora

It's been a little while since my last post and thought I'd upload the pictures of this pendant I made a while ago using 0.8mm colour wire, large pendant, ribbon, silver plated findings, round-nosed pliers, chain-nosed pliers and nylon jaw pliers. I wire wrapped the pendant and used the nylon jaw pliers to avoid marking the wire. I also created the necklace using a piece of organza ribbon, cord end, lobster claps and extension chain.

A little pendant I was commissioned to make this year. I used Crackle glass beads, rocailles, a wooden disc and silver plated findings. Finally I attach the pendant to a ready made organza and cord necklace.

Más corazones...My latest creation is this beaded spiral rope with a glass pendant attached with jump rings. For the beaded rope I used size 10 seed beads in blue and silver and 0.8mm silver plated wire for the jump rings.

Noir Knotted Necklace

A little bit of beading; a little bit of knotting and linking. I made a spiral rope for the necklace which I knotted in the centre. I also added a glass pendant and coiled wire to attach it to the necklace.

Un poquito de bisuteria con moztacillas; un poquito de nudos y conexiones. Hice el collar usando la puntada espiral y lo anudé en el centro. También le puse un pendiente de vidrio conectado al collar con alambre enrollado como resorte.

Coeur Pendant

The pendant of this choker was a gift I received from a friend of mine not long ago (She also loves jewellery making). Inspired on the pendant's colours I choe my beads and create a choker.
I made the choker using the twisted herring bone stitch - ndebele and 2 colours of seed beads in the same size. I added the pendant making a peyote ring and a wire ring.

El pendiente/colgante de esta gargantilla fue un regalo de un amiga mia no hace mucho. ( A ella tambien le gusta hacer joyeria). Inspirada en los colores del colgante/pendiente escogí mis moztacillas y creé una gargantilla.
Hice esta gargantilla con la puntada retorcida herringbone - ndebel y 2 colores disitintos de moztacillas. Al pendiente lo conecté con un anillo de peyote y otro anillo hecho de alambre.
