FELT TREE

I'm back at making more Christmas cards for this year and I had another try at needle felting. I made this Christmas tree and added some beads, a bow and a star sequin. I also used patterned papers I got free with a scrapbook magazine last year and felt. Hope you have a lovely weekend and thank you for your comments.

Otra vez he vuelto a hacer mas tarjetas de Navidad para este año y esta vez hice un arbolito de navidad usando la tecnica de "needle felting". A este arbolito tambien le puse perlitas, un lazo y una lentejuela de estrella. Tambien use papeles estampados que me vinieron gratis con una revista de scrapbook del año pasado y fieltro. I had a go at "needle felting" and I create a bold starfish embellishment for this page. I used a Fimo shape cutter; a sponge and a felting needle to make this embellishment. I also die-cut flowers from acetate using the nested flowers from Cuttlebug. I stamped the title using See D's alphabet stamps and add more doodles. I also stamped the top using PB clear stamps and Brilliance inkpad. For the picture I cut a circle from felt and sew it to the page. Finally I added some journalling on a white card punched with a Papermania punch. Thank you for your comments.

Decidi probar la tecnica de "needle felting" en la que crea formas usando una aguja, molde, espoja y fieltro en forma de fibra. Con esta tecnica creé la estrella de mar que puse en esta pagina. Tambien corte las flores de acetato/mica transparente usando los dies de Cuttlebug. Estampé el titulo usando sellos de See D's y les agregé mas detalles a mano. Tambien estampé la parte superior de la pagina usando un sello de Penny Black y un tampon de Brilliance. Para la foto corté un circulo de fieltro y lo cosi a la pagina. Finalmente agregé un poco de journalling en una cartulina blanca; la que habia decorado con un punch de Papermania. Gracias por sus comentarios.
