In The Bottle

My first post of 2014...I made this necklace using a small perfume bottle as the main feature, I also used pearls, shells, crystal cube, bicone crystals, bead caps, rondelles, pearls, gold-plated wire, chain and findings. I also enhanced each dangling bead using wire work and wire wrapping.

This necklace features a mixture of techniques from beadwork to wirework, linking and bead embroidery. The pendant base is a fabric button I bead embroidered using a selection of seed beads, sequins, some pearls and a shell. I also used faux pearls, glass beads and gold plated wire. The strand on the left is all about wirework and the one on the right is made of a stitch called spiral rope -beadwork

En este collar podran apreciar una variedad de técnicas que van desde el trabajo con moztacillas hasta el trabajo con alambre, conexiones y bordado con moztacillas. La base del colgante es un boton de tela al cual bordé con una variedad de moztacillas, lentejuelas, algunas perlitas y un caracolito. Tambien use perlas falsas, cuentas de vidrio y alambre dorado. La tira de la izquierda esta hecha toda de trabajo en alambre y la de la derecha esta hecha con la puntada espiral - trabajo con moztacillas.

A few earrings I made using gold plated findings, glass, shell and acrylic beads. The 2nd pair was actually and alteration and made longer from the original design.
