Single Flower

A card I've made lately. The main embellishment of this card (embroidered flower) actually came from a fancy top that I recycled as thought the embroidered flowers of the fabric would make a great card feature. I only added a few seed beads on the flower and leave to accent the shape & give it extra-sparkle.
I also used free papers, mirror card, brown paper, vellum, peel-offs and brads.

Loving beads so much that I had to use them to create this stylish birthday card. I used small "rice shape" pearls, green bugles and gold seed beads. I also used a fabric swatch, peel-offs, free greeting, circle punch and gold & embossed cream cardstock.

Me encantas las cuentas y moztacillas tanto que las tuve que incorporar en esta tarjeta. Usé perlita de forma "de arroz", canutillos verdes y moztacillas doradas. También usé un retal de tela, pegatinas, saludito, cortador de circulos y cartulina dorada y crema en alto relieve.

Latin Beads

ROJO Y AZUL

I almost forgot to post these 2 cards from the past Christmas 08. On the 1st one I stamped onto fabric with black Stazon and added extra detail to the image by sewing some beads and stickles. I cut the edges using a pair of pinking shears and attached it to some holograpic card. I also added beads, a snowflake brad , stamped greeting on vellum and ribbon. The 2nd card was for my husband and I used a small wreath which I recycled from another card and shaped it into a heart and added beads, ribbon and wire to embellish it. Finally I wrote the greeting on green card using a fine black pen. Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!

Casi me olvido de subir estas 2 tarjetas que son de la Navidad pasada 08. En la primera estampe el diseño en tela y le agregé mas detalles cosiendole algunas moztacillas y poniendole purpurina/escarcha engomada. Corte los bordes con una tijera zig-zag y le puse cartulina holografica. Tambien le puse perlitas, un brad de hojuela de nieve, un saludito estampado en vellum y cinta. La 2da tarjeta fue para mi esposo use una pequeña ramita verde a la que le di forma de corazón y le agregé perlitas, cinta y alambre para adornala. Finalmente escribí el saludo en cartulina verde usando un bolígrafo negro de punta fina. Gracias por sus visitas! Que tengan un lindo día.

CHRISTMAS BAUBLE

I tried to recycle some materials for this card and I used wrapping paper for the background and a fabric swatch to sew the seed beads. Using a brass template I sew the beads and added sequins to the corners. I also added glitter glue to the sides and double sided tape to attach it to the background. Finally the greeting was heat embossed using gold embossing powder and a See D's stamp. Many thanks for your comments!

Traté de reciclar algunos materiales para esta tarjeta y usé papel de regalo para el fondo y una muestra de tela para coser las moztacillas. Usando un molde de brass cosí las moztacillas y agregé lentejuelas en los costadis. Tambien usé purpurina engomada en los bordes y cinta pegatina doble para adjuntarlo al fondo de la tarjeta. Finalmente el saludito lo hice usando polvos dorados para embossing y un sello de See D's. Muchas gracias por sus comentarios!

3 LITTLE CATS

I saw this cute Penny Black stamp a little while ago and couldn't help buying it. I love this image and thought it would be great for stamping onto fabric. I used black Stazon to stamp it, then I sew some seed beads and added stickles as well. I also used a designers card from Papermania, flowers, small brads and matching cardstock.

Vi este lindo sello de Penny Black hace un tiempo y no pude evitar comprarlo. Me encanta esta imagen y pense que seria perfecta para usarla al estampar tela. Para estamparla use Stazon negro luego le cosi moztacillas y use escarcha engomada tambien. Tambien use una tarjeta del pack de diseñadores de Papermania, flores, pequeños brads y cartulina.

Ademas queria agradecerles por sus amables comentarios en mi post anterior y las estaré visitando en sus blogs muy pronto.

FABRIC ATC's

I made these ATC's using fabric, Sissix dies and my Big Shot. I added extra detail like faux stitching, buttons, etc. I made them to be given as "business card" and advertise the cardmaking and scrapbooking classes I'm teaching at the moment.

Hice estas ATC's usando tela, los "dies" de Sissix y mi Big Shot. Les agrege algunos detalles extra como costuras falsas, botones, etc. Las hice para que sean entregadas como tarjetas de negocios y anunciar las clases de tarjeteria y scrapbooking que estoy enseñando actualmente.

DAD & MUM

This is my latest layout in which I used some patterned fabric. It was top I got on sale and I really liked the little flowers on it. I used it as a background and also cut some of the flowers from the fabric, put some platinium stickles around to stop the edges from fraying and added them as embellishments. The letters were die-cut with the Olivia alphabet from Cuttlebug.

Este es mi ultimo layout en el que use tela estampada. Fue una prenda que compré en remate y me gustó bastante las florecitas que tenia. Use la tela como fondo y tambien corte algunas flores de la misma tela, les puse purpurina/escarcha engormada en los bordes para evitar que se deshilache y las agregé como adornitos en mi pagina. Las letras del titulo las corte con los dies de Cuttlebug coleccion Olivia.

TOGETHER

This is a 12x12 layout in which I used fabric for the background and wooden letters and embellishments like the hearts with the beads on them. I painted the letters with acrylic paint and used double sided tape to stick the fabric. I also added ribbon and foam hearts.

Este es un layout the 12x12 en el cual utilize tela para el fondo y letras de madera y adornitos como los corazones que tiene las perlitas. Pinté las letras con pitura acrilica y use cinta pegatina doble para pegar la tela. También le agregé cinta y corazones de fomis.

GINGER

This my new layout with a picture of Hot Paws' friend. Hot Paws is my cat. I used fabric on the background and also cut the flowers from fabric and place them to the right side. I added buttons and beads. I made the name from fine copper wire and thread some beads. I also used pipe cleaners to make decorative borders.

Esta es mi nueva pagina que hice con una foto de una gata amiga de Hot Paws; mi gata. Use tela en el fondo y corte flores de otra tela que las puse al lado derecho. Le agrege botones y perlitas. Hice el nombre de alambre fino y le puse perlitas. Tambien usé limpia pipas para hacer bordes decorativos.
