Corazones de papel

I decided to make something a little bit different than the traditional square fold card and had a go at making this accordion card. I made it using a few pictures, vellum, embossing stencil, embosing tool, glitter pens, vellum tape,craft knife pattern papers and cardstock. I cut the half heart apperture using a craft knife and then embellished each heart with pictures and embossed vellum hearts.

Decidí hacer algo un poquito distinto de la tarjeta tradicional y probé este tipo de tarjeta acordeón. La hice con unas fotos, vellum/papel para pergaminos, stencil, herramienta para embossing, lapiceros con escarcha, adhesivo especial para vellum, cuchilla/navaja para hacer manualidades, papeles estampados y cartulina. Corte la mitad de los corazones con el craft knife y luego los adorné con las fotos y los corazones con frases y el detalle en alto relieve.

Green's the new black

One of my favorites is this green choker which features a mix of a little bit of beading and wire work. I used a glass stone/pebble; size 10 seed beads in assorted colors; glass beads, drops, pearls and silver plated wire.

Uno de mis favoritos es esta gargantilla verde que se caracteriza por tener un poquito de trabajo con moztacillas y alambre. Usé una piedrita de vidrio; moztacillas número 10 en colores variados; cuentas de vidrio; gotas; perlas y alambre plateado.

Corazón en Filigrana

Another quilled card with a simple heart design in 2 different colours. I used 0.3mm papers, pattern papers, thick cardstock for the base of the card that I cut myself with a craft knife, die-cut flowers, rub-ons and a greeting.

Aqui podran apreciar otra de mis tarjetas con un diseño de corazón simple trabajada con la técnica de Filigrana en 2 colores diferentes. Usé papeles de 0.3mm, papeles estampados, cartulina gruesa para la base de la tarjeta que yo misma corté con un "craft knife" - cuchillo/navaja; flores pre-cortadas, rub-ons y un saludito.

Animalitos

I tried to include as many pictures as possible in this zoo layout; especially the ones with the animals we saw. I used DCWV papers,textured cardstock, die-cut letters, stamps, ribbon, vellum, sakura pens and a tag.

En este layout del zoologico traté de incluir varias fotos, especialmente las de los animalito que alli vimos. Usé papeles de DCWV, cartulina texturizada, letras precortadas, sellos, cinta, papel para pergaminos, lapiceros de Sakura y una etiqueta.

Rojo, Azul y Amarrillo

I love the Peruvian ceramic beads I bought at the airport a few years ago. They were the last ones I had left and it was nice to incorporate them as dangling charms in this bracelet that also uses Pandora style beads as well as other glass beads, crystal cubes and wire coils. I finished the bracelet with a magnetic clasp for easy wearing.

Me encantan estas cuentas de ceramica Peruana que compre en el aeropuerto hace unos años. Eran las ultimas que me quedaban y fue agradable incorporarlas en este brazalete como colgantes en este brazalete que tambien tiene otras cuentas de vidrio, cubos de cristal y alambre enrollado. Lo termine con un broche magnetico para ponerselo facilmente.

Telas

I finally managed to do some scrapbooking after a long time beading and here's my latest. I stamped the title and used some of the lovely stamps that the lovely María Jesús sent me as part of her blog candy a while ago. I also added some eyelets, fabric flowers, brads, stickles, buttons and a little bit of dry embossing the tradicional way (light box and embossing too)using a metal stencil from Kars to add the swirls that frame the tittle to embellish this page. I used K&Co papers and textured cardstock.
