Opening Cadeaux

I'm always trying to make more time to scrap some more of my photos but as always jewellery making takes over; somehow I managed to make some layouts that I haven't post in here yet. This one from Christmas 07. I used K & Co papers, Turquoise lace/ribbon, red and cream cardstock, permanent pens, die-cut letters, a handmade template for the fancy egde and a flower embellishment.

CHRISTMAS DINNERS

Here I am with my husband Kevin in 2 of the Christmas dinners we had last year. I used PapeMania Christmas papers from last year also free papers from a scrapbook magagazine I bought last year.Added beads on one side of the pictures and eyelets.I can't help using beads as I love the sparkly touch they give to cards and other projects. The gold "Christmas" was cut out from a package of cards and the other letters were stamped and embossed with the See D's Plain Jane Alphabet. Also used stickers, clipsand the place cards we were given at those dinners.

Last Christmas was my first one here in N.I. The 1st Christmas away from my parents, sister and brother but the very 1st one with my husband Kevin. I was so excited to open my present because they were crafty goodies! Kevin got me some lovely goodies! I decided to scrap this picture because it's a very special one and will always remind me my 1st Christmas abroad.
I decided to use more funky colors and I went for pink. I also added some gift embellishments I made myself by cutting squares of background paper and wrapping them with ribbon.
