I made this card using a Forever Friends stamp, watercolour pencils, white, gold, deep red and cream card stock, K & Co papers, stamped sentiment, free enhanced flower embellishment, ribbon, a button, wire and seed beads to create the "S" shape accents which I sew to the card.

Spread your wings and fly... mariposa

This coming Sunday is Mother's Day in the UK and here's the card I made for my mother-in-law. I quilled the wings of the butterfly using 3mm papers in 3 different colours. I also added seed beads stickles, wire and gold beads to create the body of the butterfly.
I stamped the greeting, embellished it with stickles, and add plain colour card for matting and layering.

Este domingo que se viene es el dia de la Madre aqui en el Reino Unido y esta es la tarjeta que hice para la mami de mi esposo. Usando la technica de filigrana hice las alas de la mariposa con papeles de 3 mm en 3 colores distintos. Tambien use moztacillas, escarcha, alambre y cuentas para crear el cuerpo de la mariposa.
Al saludito lo estampé; lo adorné con escarcha y use cartulinas en colores enteros para crear las capas.

Mariposa

A little ATC made with a die-cut butterfly shape, wire to make the antenae, gems, glitter and peel-offs to accent the wings. I aslo used free papers from a magazine and foam pads on the butterfly.

Hice esta ATC usando una forma precortada de mariposa, alambre para hacer las antenas, gemas transparentes, escarcha y pegatinas en las alas de la mariposa. Tambien use papeles que vinieron gratis con una revista y foamis en la mariposa.

Now back to the crafts; I made this card using 20 gauge/0.8mm gold wire, rocailles in red and green, pliers, ribbon,sticky foam and red holographic self- adhesive paper. I enhanced the start which came as a tag by attaching the golg wire with the sticky foam, adding the beads and looped the ends with the round nose pliers to stop the beads from falling.

Ahora si vuelvo al tema de las manualidaded y esta vez hice esta tarjeta usando alambre dorado de 20 gauge/0.8mm , rocallas en rojo y verde, tenazas, cinta, foamis adhesivo y papel de aluminio holográfico adhesivo rojo. A la estrella le aumente mas detalles como el alambre dorado que lo sujete con el foamis adhesivo; puse unas rocallas y con la tenaza de puntas redondas hize un "círculo" para evitar que se cayeran.

SWIRLS & FLOWERS

A little selection of some ATCs I've made recently to be given as business cards. I used chipboard flowers, beads and 0.8 wire in assorted colors. I used round and flat nose pliers to make them and added some beads. Thank you for stopping by and your comments!

Aqui podran apreciar una pequeña selección de mis ATCs que he hecho recientemente para entregarlas como tarjetas de negocios. BEADED HEART

I made this heart embellishment using some wire and assorted beads. I sew it to the card with silver thread. I also use my Fiskars border punch and embosser to create the edges of the white circle and added patterned paper for the background . Many thanks for your comments.

Hice este corazoncito usando alambre y perlitas variadas. Lo cosi a la tarjeta usando hilo plateado. Tambien use mi punch de Fiskars que tambien hace el alto relieve para hacer los bordes del circulo blanco y puse papel estampado para el fondo. Muchas gracias por sus comentarios.
