BEADED BAUBLE - My 1st Christmas card for this year!

My first Chritmas card for 2008. Can't believe I have started so early. Last year I started in June.
I made this card using the sizzix bauble die, a big circle punch, seed beads, wire, ribbong, peel-offs and silver card. Thank you for your comments

Mi primera tarjeta de Navidad para el 2008. No puedo creer que haya comenzado tan temprano. El año pasado comenzé en Junio.
Hice esta tarjeta usando el die de bolita navideña de Sizzix, un punch de circula grande, alambre, cinta, peel-offs y cartulina plateada. Gracias por sus comentarios.

My birthday presents


I made this set of jewelry using tiger tail, square glass beads, 0.8 mm silver wire, crimp beads, round nose pliers and flat nose ones. This my first set that is going for sale at Hobby-Dashery.

Guess what ladies? Today's my 28th birthday and the last picture is from the lovely crafty goodies I received from my husband. I love them all; specially the stonning hammer and needle file set which will be very useful for hammering and filing my pieces of jelwery as I think hammered wire looks really good. I will use the stonning hammer as a steel block in which I put my wire to be hammer with a ball-point hammer.

Hice este set de joyeria usando el hilo llamado "cola de tigre", piedras de vidrio cuadradas, alambre plateado de 0.8mm, crimp beads, tenazas de puntas redondas y planas. Este es mi primer set que se va para la venta en Hobby-Dashery.

Adivinen que? Hoy es mi cumpleaños numero 28 y la ultima foto es de los lindos obsequios que recibi de mi esposo. Me encantan todos; especialmente el martillo y el set de limas que me seran muy utilies para martillar y limar mis piezas de joyeria ya que pienso que el alambre martillado se ve muy bien. Usaré ese martillo como un bloque de metal en donde sobre este pondré mis piezas para martillarlas con otro martillo.

ENTWINED HEARTS

I made the wire hearts using 0.8mm purple wire, round nose pliers to coil the wire and the flat nose ones to keep coiling tight the wire. I also used assorted plastic beads and jump rings to join the hearts. I added an oval shape cut with scallop scissors, die-cut corners and hanwrote the greeting with gel pens. Hice los caroazones de alambre usando el alambre morado de 0.8mm, tenazas de puntas redondas para enrollar el alambre; y tenazas de puntas planas para seguir enrollado el alambre de manera ajustada. Tambien use una variedad de piedritas de plastico, y anillos partidos para unir los corazones. Agrege un circulo oval cortado por tijeras ondeadas, esquinas de die-cuts y escribí a mano el título. EARTH TONE EARRINGS & GREEN PENDANT

Here's another pair of earring I made using some glass beads in different shapes and sizes. I used 0.5mm copper wire to make the little chain for the seed beads. I also made a matching pendant for the green earrings I post last week. Thank you for your comments.

Aqui pueden ver otro par de aretes que hice usando piedras de vidrio en distintos tamaños y formas. Use alambre de 0.5mm para hacer la cadenita para las mostacillas. Tambien hice un pendiente verde que vaya a juego con los aretes que publique la semana pasada. Gracias por sus comentarios.

FUNKY BIRTHDAY

I made this card using a couple of big circle punches, die-cuts flowers, brads and stamped greeting. I also used small circle punch for the edges in pink and lilac and pink flowwers . I added foam pads to the circles in the centre and used ribbons for the background.

Hice esta tarjeta usando un par de "punches" grandes de circulo, flores de die-cuts, brads y un saludito estampado. Tambien usé un pequeño "punch" de circulo para los bordes en rosado y lila y flores rosadas. Puse foamis detras de los circulos del centro y use cintas para el fondo.

TURQUOISE & GREEN

Here's a new layout I made using die-cut flowers in green and blue and also papers from Papermania; the Colossal collection. I also added faux stiching and stickles. Many thanks for your comments!

BLACK & PINK ATC's

Here are more ATC's I will give as business card and this time I deciced to use a little bit of black for the background though I'm not a big fan of black. I used die-cuts, mirror card and buttons for these ATC's. Sorry about the quality of the pictures. Will get back to you ladies as soon as I can and thank you for all your kind comments on my earrings.

DANGLING EARRINGS

I'm back to jewelry making again and couldn't help to make this pair of dangling earrings to match the recycled green watch I post earlier. I used glass beads in diferent sizes and jump rings.

Nuevamente estoy haciendo joyeria y no pude evitar hacer este par de aretes colgantes para que vayan a juego con el reloj verde reciclado que hice antes.

TRENDY THANKS

I made this card using different sizes of brads.I wrote on the back of the card "Thanks" and then I pierce the holes. I also used die-cut corners, glittery card and platinium stickles.

Hice esta tarjeta usando brads de diferentes tamaños. Escribí en la parte de atras de "Thanks" y luego hice los agujeros. También use esquinas cortadas por un die, cartulina escarchada y purpurina engomada.

FLORES

Another ATC to be given as business card. I used a Penny Black stamp and stamped the flowers twice. I watercoloured the imafe and added some foam pads on the 2nd pair of flowers to create a 3D effect. I also added some gems, cut the edges of the image with funky scissors and used glitery background paper.

Otra ATC que la daré como tarjeta de negocios. Use un sello de Penny Black y estampé las flores 2 veces. Coloreé la imagen con acuarelas y puse foamy en el 2do par de flores para crear un efecto 3D. Tambien le agregé unas gemas, corte los bordes con tijeras de bordes especiales y usé papel con escarcha en el fondo.

FLOWER & BUTTERFLY ATC

This is a quilled ATC I made for a competition and was able to get me a runner-up prize (which was a voucher from that shop). I used the fine quilling papers (3mm). I made the butterfly body with 24 gauge wire and beads. I also used a button to place it as the centre of the flower and some ribbon. Finally I added vellum and glitter glue.

Esta es una ATC de filigrana que hice para una competencia y con la que puede ganar uno de los premios que fue un voucher de descuento en la tienda que oragnizó este concurso. Para esta ATC use los papeles finos (3mm). Hice el cuerpo de la mariposa con alambre de gauge 24 y perlitas. Tambien use un botón para el centro de la flor y un poquito de cinta. Finalmente le agrege vellum y purpurina/escarcha engomada.

Here's a card I made for my Dad's coming birhtday which is on the 26 of this month (Also my birthday is coming on the 23rd!!!!) I watercoloured the stamped image and die-cut the letter using the Olivia alphabet.

Aqui podran apreciar una tarjeta que hice para el cumpleaños de mi Papá que ya se viene el 26 de este mes (Tambien mi cumpleaños se viene el 23 de este mes!!!!)Use las acuarelas para pintar la imagen estampadas y corte las letras con el die de alfabeto llamado "Olivia" de Cuttlebug.

PINL FLOWER ATC

Another ATC in which I actually used a piece of the thick cardstock (package) in which my new Cuttlebug embossing folder came as the background for this ATC. I die-cut the flowers from handmade papers and pink cardstock. I added a flower gem, spotty ribbon and and embossed word.
Otra ATC en la que usé un pedazo del carton grueso (empaque) en el que vino mi nuevo folder de repujado de Cuttlebug para el fondo de esta ATC. Las flores on die-cuts de papeles hechos a mano y cartulina rosada. Le agregé una gema de flor, cinta a bolitas y una palabra repujada (en alto relieve)

CLEAR FLOWERS

This a recycled piece of jewelry which I made using a plastic bottle, Cuttlebug dies and my Big Shot. I die-cut the flowers and put them together using clear beads, nylon and jump rings. I made the necklace using white thread, flat macramé knot and a lobster clasp.
Esta es una pieza de joyeria reciclada que hize usando una botella de plastico, Dies de Cuttlebud y mi Big Shot. Corte las flores usando los CB dies en mi Big shot, los ensamble usando perlitas, nylon y anillos partidos. Hice el collar usando hilo blanco, el nudo plano de Macramé y un gancho.

CUTE CAT

Another ATC to be givien as business card.I stamped this Penny Black cat on white card and coloured it with watercolours and metalic pens. I used vellum and patterned paper on the background.

FLOWER SOFT & BASKET

Here's my last project using Flower Soft and I paper basket I made. The final touch was the pink bow.
