Caña Verde

A commissioned necklace I made using assorted glass and glass crackle beads as well as rocailles to accent them. I used 0.8mm silver plated wire to make the spirals and jump rings to get the cascading effect.

Un collar por encargo que hice usando cuentas de vidrio variadas asi como rocallas para acentuarlas. Use alambre plateado de 0.8mm para hacer las espirales y anillas para darle el efecto de cascada.

I did more paper piecing for this card as well as adding a few beads, bells and green snowflake. I also used a round metallic tag, X cut templates and nestabilities to cut the mats. The greeting came from another card and I embellished it using permanent and gel pens.

Hice el fondo de esta tarjeta usando pedazitos de papel asi como unas cuantas cuentas, campanitas y una hojuela de nieve verde. Tambien usé una etiqueta redonda metálica, moldes de X cut y nestabilities para cortas las capas redondas. El saludito vino de otra tarjeta  y lo adorné con lapiceros de gel y permanentes.

A simple scrapbook style album I made recently and finished in 2 weeks. Most of the papers I used were from K&Co, DCWV and American Crafts. I matted all the pictures to make the pop-out from the background and used some sticker accents.

Poinsettia 3

I made the background of this card using tiny pieces of paper and added a few more layers and a poinsettia die-cut. I gave the poinsettia a 3D look using paper glaze and also used beads, ribbon and mirror card. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Hice el el fondo de esta tarjeta usando pedacitos de papel pequeñitos y le agregé más capas y una ponsetia precortada. Le di una apariencia más 3D usando glaze para papel y tambien usé cuentas, cinta y cartulina brillante.

Hojuelas Doradas

Left over paper from other projects and scraps can really go a long way if you combine them to create an attractive background. This card is a proof of that since I used plenty of small paper scraps as well as some nice packaging that I recycled to create lots of layers for my main embellishment. I made the bauble look more 3D using paper glaze but accent the snowflakes with gold glitter before that . I also added a few beads on the right hand side.

Los sobrantes de papel de otros proyectos y recortes pueden durar bastante si los combinas para crear un fondo atractivo. Esta tarjeta lo demuestra ya que use varios pedacitos de papel asi como empaque llamativo que reciclé para crear varias capas para mi adornito principal.  Hice que la bolita navideña se vea mas 3D usando esmalte para papel pero le puse escarcha dorada las hojuelas antes. Tambien le coloqué una cuentas al lado derecho.
