Folk Museum

At last I'm able to make my 1st layout of this year. Jewelry making is taking most of my time but I'm hoping to have some more layouts done this year. For this one I used paper from AMM, Dome stickers from Papermania, photo corners, green cardstock, stickles, letter stickers from K&Co and a coin to draw the scallop edge. Thank you for you comments! Al fin he podido hacer mi primer layout de este año. La elaboración de bisutería esta ocupando la mayor parte de mi tiempo pero espero que en este año pueda culminar mas layouts. Para este layout usé papeles de AMM, dome stickers de Papermania, esquineros para fotos, cartulina verde, stickers de letras de K&Co y una moneda para dibujar el borde ondeado. Different looks for a wire heart

The chosen heart dangling from an aperture


On the first picture you could see the different heart designs I made using wire. You can keep it plain and simple, add beads or dangling them from the heart centre (as seen on the last heart)
The second picture is from the card I made using glittered papers and a tiny heart I made. I cut the aperture using an Ellison heart die and stamped the greeting. Thanks for visiting and have a lovely day!

En la primera foto podran ver los distintos diseños de corazones que hice usando alambre. El diseño puede ser simple y llano, puedes agregar piedritas o colgarlas desde el centro del corazón (como se ve en el ultimo corazón)
La segunda foto esde la tarjeta que hice con papeles que tienen escarcha un corazoncito de alambre que hice. Corte la apertura con un die de Ellison y estampé el saludito. Gracias por sus visitas y que tengan un lindo día!

I made this card using dies from Cuttlebug and papers from Basic Grey. I added some foam pads, stickles and an embossed greeting. Thank you for your visits!

Naranja Chocker

Here's the chocker that goes with the earrings I post last week. I made it by braiding 24 gauge copper wire and finished the end using pliers. I added an enamel copper pendan and glass beads. Thank you for entering on the blog candy draw. I will be visiting your blogs soon!! Have a great day!

Aqui esta la gargantilla que va a juego con los arete que subí la semana pasada. La hice con alambre de color cobre en 24 gauge y la termine usando las tenazas. Corazón

I made this cards using a heart die-cut which I embossed using gold embossing powder. I embossed the gold card using a CB embossing folder and also used glitter papers. Thank you for you comments! Gotitas

My 1st jewelry making project of this year; a pair of earring which is also part of a set. I'll be posting the chocker soon. I used 24 gauge copper wire, round nose and flat nose pliers and some large glass beads to make these earrings.

ROJO Y AZUL

I almost forgot to post these 2 cards from the past Christmas 08. On the 1st one I stamped onto fabric with black Stazon and added extra detail to the image by sewing some beads and stickles. I cut the edges using a pair of pinking shears and attached it to some holograpic card. I also added beads, a snowflake brad , stamped greeting on vellum and ribbon. The 2nd card was for my husband and I used a small wreath which I recycled from another card and shaped it into a heart and added beads, ribbon and wire to embellish it. Finally I wrote the greeting on green card using a fine black pen. Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!

Casi me olvido de subir estas 2 tarjetas que son de la Navidad pasada 08. En la primera estampe el diseño en tela y le agregé mas detalles cosiendole algunas moztacillas y poniendole purpurina/escarcha engomada. Corte los bordes con una tijera zig-zag y le puse cartulina holografica. Tambien le puse perlitas, un brad de hojuela de nieve, un saludito estampado en vellum y cinta. La 2da tarjeta fue para mi esposo use una pequeña ramita verde a la que le di forma de corazón y le agregé perlitas, cinta y alambre para adornala. Finalmente escribí el saludo en cartulina verde usando un bolígrafo negro de punta fina. Gracias por sus visitas! Que tengan un lindo día.

STARTING THE NEW YEAR WITH A TIDY CRAFT ROOM

Finally I was able to tidy all my stash and keep everything inside my drawers. It took me some time but was worth the effort! It's great to have a nice and tidy area to keep crafting in this New Year. If only it could be like that all the time!
