Arbolito 2

A good thing about making your own cards is that you can always use the small pieces of paper left over from other projects to create your own unique background. On this card featured I made a small paper-pieced background using my tiny left-over papers, some glue and cardstock which then I die-cut using Nestabilities.
I also created my main background using slightly larger pieces of paper and card.
The interesting thing about this card is that looks like I used a gold peel-off greeting but actually the greeting was the "negative" of a silver peel-off (what's left when you remove it) that I colour with a permanent brown pen and applied it to gold mirror card.
I added a few gems to accent the baubles on the tree and foam pads for a 3D effect. Some of them were coloured with permanent pens too to match the traditional theme of this card.
Thanks for stopping by and have fantastic Monday!
