Rose Dream

My lastest card made for my mother-in-law's birthday. This time I made the roses from organza ribbon; sew them to a piece of fabric as well as adding a few buggle beads and leaves for extra detail. I mounted the fabric onto chipboard and kept it in place using brads. For the greeting I used vellum and The Whispers permanent markers. I matted and layered them with brown paper. Mi ultima tarjeta hecha para el cumpleaños de la mami de mi esposo. Esta vez usé cinta de organza para hacer la rosas; la cosí a un pedazo de tela asicomo tambien les añadí mas detalles usando canutillos y hojitas hechas de cinta. A la tela la monté en un pedazo de cartón grueso y la aseguré con brads. El saludito lo escribí a mano usando vellum y los plumones permanentes Whispers. Luego los emnarqué usando papel marrón. Caterpillar in Crema

I've been very busy making the new jewellery projects and cards for Creativity - September issue and now I only need to do the written part of the projects.
I'm also trying to improve my photography skills and taking more pictures of my makes using different backgrounds and elements. The bracelet you see in this pictures was made with an assortment of glass beads, pearls and rocailles. I strung them first (a lenght of 4m) on the thread and then started to crochet. I finished it off with a gold big button and make a loop with the thread to make a clasp. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

My first project using the soldering technique. I used silver plated wire which I painted using gold spray paint and varnish it with clear gloss. Thank you for your comments and have a great weekend!

Elegancia en Lila

Another necklace done! I made this one using twisted silver plated wire to make the 3 wire shapes that are the main feature of this necklace. I also used glass crackle beads, rocailles, long silver beads, O.8mm silver plated wire and a clasp.

Otro collar terminado! Lo hice usando alambre retorcido plateado para hacer las formas alambradas que son la caracteristica principal de este collar. También usé piedritas de vidrio, moztacillas grandes, canutillos metalicos, alambre de 0.8mm y un broche.

A father's day card I made for my Dad. I made the car embellishment using air drying clay and then painted it using acrylic paints. I handwrote the greeting in Spanish on vellum which means "Happy Father's Day" and use free papers for the background. Have a lovely day and thank you for stopping by.

Here's my first cabochon. I beaded around a blue glass stone using peyote stitch and a mixture of blue seed beads. For the rest of the necklace I used the tripple spiral stich and added a beaded wooden bead as a clasp. I think it finishes off the necklace nicely.

Aqui podran apreciar mi primer "cabochon". Para hacer este collar use una piedra de vidrio a la cual le cosí las moztacillas usando la puntada Peyote y una mezcla de moztacillas azules. Para el resto del collar use la puntada espiral triple y le agregé una bolita de madera a la cual le cosí las moztacillas y la usé como cierre. Creo que este es el detalle que finaliza al collar muy bien.
