POLYMER CLAY BRACELET

A bracelet I made using polymer clay to make some beads and glass beads. I also used some blue thread and a clasp.

Esta es una pulsera que hice con arcilla para hacer las cuentas y cuentas de vidrio. Tambien use hilo de color azul y un broche.

STAMPING & FLOWER SOFT

Here I combined some stamping and Flower Soft. In the 1st card I used the Spring colours and in the 2nd one I used the Summer one. I also added foam pads to raise the images, stickles and gems.

Aqui he combinado un poco de estampado con Flower Soft. En la 1era tarjeta usé los colores de Spring y en la 2da usé Summer. Tambien les agregé foamis para levantar las imágenes (efecto 3D), purpurina/escarcha engomada y gemas.

ROSAS

I've just finished this card minutes ago. I made paper roses again and use handmade paper for the background. I also used my own handwriting.

Acabo de terminar esta tarjeta hace unos minutos. Hice mis rosas de papel nuevamente y use papeles hechos a mano para el fondo. Tambien use mi propia letra.

RECYCLED WATCH

Here's one of my old watches that has come to "live" since I changed the old straps for new beaded ones. I used green beads from the Artisan set and 0.5 mm silver wire. I also used the Macramé knot called flat or plain, cutters, crimp beads and a clasp. It might need some more filing on the face as the black paint on it was peeling. I only need to get a battery now and I'll have a green watch to match the green jewelry I made earlier.

En este proyecto recicle uno de mis relojes antiguos y lo "reviví" al cambiarle las correas por unas hechas con piedras de vidrio. Use las piedras verdes del set Artisan y alambre plateado de 0.5 mm. Tambien usé el nudo plano de Macramé, tenazas cortadoras, crimp beads y un broche plateado. Puede que necesite mas lijado en la parte central ya que la pintura original negra se estaba pelando. Solo tengo que ponerle una bateria nueva y tendre un reloj verde que vaya a juego con la joyeria que he hecho anteriormente.

Aqui podran apreciar 2 tarjetas mas con Flower Soft. Use los colores de Spring (primavera) esta vez y tambien papeles con fondos coloridos y hechos a manos.

WIRE COILS ON CARDS

This is my 1st try at using some wire shapes I made myself using a round nose plier and a flat nose one. I sew them to the card using silver thread. I also used some beads for the butterfly body and quilled wings. I also used funky scissors for the borders and foam for a raised effect. Finally added pink ribbon for the background and K& Co base card.

Esta es mi 1er intento al usar unos espirales de alambre que yo misma hice usando las tenazas de puntas redondas y planas. Luego las cosi usando hilo plateado. Tambien use unas moztacillas para el cuerpo de la mariposa e hice las alas de filigrana. Tambien use tijeras de bordes ondeados y foamis para darle un efecto 3D. Funalmente le agrege cinta rosada para el fondo y una tarjeta de K&Co como base.

ME

I made this page using a picture that was taken at "Luna Negra" (Black Moon) Restaurant in Chiclayo, Peru when I was 25. I only used Do Crafts products as this page was choosen as the Scrapbooking Project of the week by www.docrafts.co.uk
I made the frame with handmade roses I made from strips of PaperMania Colossal paper. I used tacky glue to attach the flowers to the page. I also used rub-ons and my own handwritting to write the number 25. I put the journalling on the flower petals and add some punched shapes to the picture.

Hice esta pagina usando una foto tomada en el restaurant Luna negra en Chiclayo, Perú cuando tenia 25. Solamente use productos de Do Crafts ya que esta pagina fue escogida como proyecto de scrapbooking de la semana en www.docraft.co.uk
Hice el marco de con rosas que hice de papel. Tambien use rub-ons y mi propia letra para escribir el numero 25. Puse el journalling en los petalos de la flor y le agregé unas mariposas y libelulas cortadas con un punch.

FUNKY ATC's

Some more ATC's I made to be given as "business cards". I made the roses from paper and use a die-cut for the dress. The one with the sunflowers is actually an "Eason's gift card" which I altered using eyelets and stickles.

Aqui podran apreciar mas ATC(artist trading card - tarjetas artisticas de intercambio) usadas como tarjetas de negocios para ser dadas a los clientes de la tienda donde enseño. Hice las rosas de papely use un vestido pre-cortado. El que tiene el girasol en realidas en una tarjeta que recicle de la tienda "Eason's" y que alteré al ponerle ojetes y purpurina/escarcha engomada.

MY FIRST TRY USING FLOWER SOFT

Here's a card I made trying Flower Soft for the 1st time. I used the recommeded wires and glue. I also used the same range greeting and the Summer Flower Soft. I used the X cut oval template, mulberry paper and wavy scissors to cut one of the ovals. I added purple cardstock, spotty ribbon and stickles.

Aqui podran apreciar esta tarjeta que hice por primera vez con el material llamado "Flower Soft". Use los alambres y goma de la misma marca. Tambien use los saludos de la misma marca y el contenedor con el color Summer de Flower Soft. Use el molde oval de Xcut, papel mulberry y tijeras de bordes para cortar uno de los ovalos. Le agrege cartulina morada, cinta a bolitas y purpurina/escarcha engomada.

FABRIC ATC's

I made these ATC's using fabric, Sissix dies and my Big Shot. I added extra detail like faux stitching, buttons, etc. I made them to be given as "business card" and advertise the cardmaking and scrapbooking classes I'm teaching at the moment.

Hice estas ATC's usando tela, los "dies" de Sissix y mi Big Shot. Les agrege algunos detalles extra como costuras falsas, botones, etc. Las hice para que sean entregadas como tarjetas de negocios y anunciar las clases de tarjeteria y scrapbooking que estoy enseñando actualmente.

CELEBRATION

Here's a decoupaged card I made using a foam stamp and gold stickles. The backing paper and the greeting were free with a craft magazine.

Aqui podran apreciar una tarjeta trabajada con la tecnica de decoupage que hice con un sello y purpurina/escarcha engomada. El papel de fondo y el saludo vinieron gratis con una revista.

I quilled this butterfly using the fine quilling papers in pink and purple.

Hice esta mariposa de filigrana usando los papeles finos de filigrana.

DAD & MUM

This is my latest layout in which I used some patterned fabric. It was top I got on sale and I really liked the little flowers on it. I used it as a background and also cut some of the flowers from the fabric, put some platinium stickles around to stop the edges from fraying and added them as embellishments. The letters were die-cut with the Olivia alphabet from Cuttlebug.

Este es mi ultimo layout en el que use tela estampada. Fue una prenda que compré en remate y me gustó bastante las florecitas que tenia. Use la tela como fondo y tambien corte algunas flores de la misma tela, les puse purpurina/escarcha engormada en los bordes para evitar que se deshilache y las agregé como adornitos en mi pagina. Las letras del titulo las corte con los dies de Cuttlebug coleccion Olivia.

Here you can see the Sympathy cards I've made since I came here (N.I) You can also see how much I have improved on making the paper roses. The card with the black background called 3 Roses was the 1st one I made and the roses were the first ones I made too. They came out a little "too square". You can notice the difference if you compare them with the ones on the 1st card of this post called White Roses which one I made yesterday for a friend.

Aqui podran apreciar las tarjetas de condolencias que he hecho desde que llege aqui (Irlanda del Norte). Tambien podran apreciar cuanto he mejorado en hacer las rosas de papel. La tarjeta con el fondo negro llamda 3 Roses fue la primera que hice y las rosas fueron las primeras tambien. Salieron un poquito "cuadradas". Pueden notar la diferencia si las comparan con las de la primera tarjeta de este post llamada white Roses que la hice ayer para una amiga.
